vinyl care instructions

Follow these care instructions carefully to ensure you get the most longevity and enjoyment ou of your Full Custom Enclosure.

Cautions:
Keep Away from Flame

The panels are made from fire retardant material but the enclosure is still flammable and can melt or catch fire.

Keep clear of open flames or hot surfaces.

Ventilation & CO2 Poisoning

Maintain proper ventilation as CO2 can be deadly. Always use a CO2 sensor and ensure staff are properly trained. It is recommended to leave some of the air vents open at all times.

Loose or broken Tie-downs

Make sure tie-downs are tight and secure at all times. Panels can become loose and will be damaged in windy conditions

DO NOT Climb OR Swing from panels

Ensure children are supervised around panels at all times. They should never be pulled on or swung on.

Care instructions:

General Maintenance
DO NOT USE WINDEX
Clean panels with a cleaner for clear soft plastic. We recommend Klear-to-Sea Plastic Cleaner or a similar product. For the best value order on Binnacle.

Other Panel Friendly Cleaners

Rubbing alcohol, Goo-Be-Gone, or Varisol Solvent on Jiffy marker, Paint, Sap, tape residue, glues or other hard-to-remove substances.

Remove marker stains as quickly, as possible.

The panels are replaceable if they become irreversibly damaged.

General Maintenance

Lube Zippers every 6 - 10 months using Star Brite Snap and Zipper lube from:

Harbourchandler.ca/starbrite-snap-zipper-lubricant-2-oz. or a similar product.
Never twist or force a zipper as this can ruin the teeth or cause irreversible damage.

Ensure the handles on the zipper’s heads are facing down on both sides when unzipping.

Maintaining Rachets

Lube the rachets before and after windy conditions.

Cement anchors and bolts must be vacuumed and lubed every 6 months.

Do not strip the anchors or bolts. If the bolts become stripped they must be replaced.

Panel Removal
When rolling your panels up for the summer, ensure they are fully dried and do a reverse roll to ensure they do not fill with water.

Roll them and attach the straps as they are easier to work with rolled up.Use a thumb wrench or rachet to remove the bolts.

Ensure the set screws in the top are removed during tear down and replaced during set up.

Panel Storage

Creasing or crumpling the panels will leave permanent wrinkles.

Always roll them flat (this is easier with two people.)

Store the panels in a dry area and avoid direct sunlight.

Contact us if you would like to order a storage vance.
